JAYLEN WRIGHT
Founder

Originally from San Jose, California, Jaylen ran track and graduated from Texas A&M University, class of 2017, and is currently a graduate student within the department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing his master's and PhD. He serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Longhorn Center for Academic Excellence (LCAE) and a Graduate Assistant for the African American Male Research Initiative (AAMRI) both housed under the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement (DDCE) at UT. Jaylen’s research interests involve examining learning behaviors and their effect on minority student and student-athlete mental health outcomes and the utilization of academic support services. His personal journey as a youth with learning disabilities and the desire to maximize his academic and athletic performance as a collegiate athlete are aspects that motivated him to create specialized learning services for high school and college students who struggle in the classroom.
